RECAP: 2023 SUPER73 Road Show
In this fast-paced world we live in, there’s something special about hitting the open road with your teammates and friends. This year, I had an incredible opportunity to coordinate and manage the 2023 SUPER73 Road Show, a series of stops bringing passionate riders and fanbase together to share some unforgettable memories. From hosting Super Socials to exhilarating group rides, the Road Show was undeniably a success for the brand and the community.
The journey officially kicked off in The Grand Canyon State, Arizona. This year, Super Bowl LVII and the Waste Management Open were in Phoenix at the same time! Two powerhouse sporting events left the town buzzing with excitement. We had the pleasure of working with CAA and activated at their Super Bowl Extravaganza near downtown. The WM Open was a different beast. The team linked up with our friends at Travis Mathew for a fun day of golf. The 16th hole is no joke! That’s a nonstop party. Then we connected with the local Phoenix Super Squad that hosted a ride through downtown. After the majestic ride, we got to sit down, have a meal, and got to chop it up to get to know each other more.
To spare you from, TL;DR (too long, didn’t read), I’ll condense this to a few amazing experiences. Hawaii was unreal. We finally got the chance to activate and work with our local dealer, The Bike Factory. Teamed up with our boys at TeamBK and presented a custom Sunrise Shack x SUPER73-S2 to the amazing team out there on Oahu. And of course, hosted a Super Social and epic Group Ride with the Hawaii Super Squad! Finally met Ryan and Tori in person after all these years. What an incredible family and community. Looking forward to getting back on the island.
Lastly, I can’t forget about New York. It’s been years since we hosted our pop-up and it was only fitting working with our authorized dealer, Last Mile NYC, and the unrivaled New York Super Squad. I got to meet so many riders in the PEV community and I can’t thank Kelvin, Mr. E, and the Squad enough for being such gracious hosts. Manhattan and New Jersey are special places to ride. From scenic routes through picturesque landscapes to urban adventures pulsing with city life, these rides offered a diverse range of experiences for any rider.
The SUPER73 Community, Super Squad, proved to be more than just a group of riders; it’s a family bound by a shared passion. Friendships were forged, and connections were made that will undoubtedly extend beyond the road show, creating a lasting legacy for the brand.
I appreciate every single one of you that I have met along this journey. Hope to see you as soon as next year! Here’s to more adventures, more friendships, and the countless roads that lie ahead for the Super Squad in the years to come.
